Abstract Door veenafbraak daalt de bodem in het veenweidegebed snel. Lage slootpeilen versnellen dit proces, maar zijn wel gunstig voor de veehouderij. In 2005-2007 is, in opdracht van de provincies Utrecht en Zuid-Holland, op proefbedrijf Zegveld gekeken naar de effecten van het opnieuw verhogen van een laag slootpeil
