Abstract Dutch young children consume about 45 grams of vegetables a day, whereas 100-150 grams is recommended. In the Netherlands, vegetables are mainly consumed during dinner. New strategies are needed to encourage children’s vegetable consumption, also during other moments of the day. The objective was to test the effect of three different learning techniques on children’s vegetable consumption.
