|Abstract||From the consumer's point of view, food is at the same time among the most trivial and the most complex of all product groups. Food is at the same time a mundane and a functional product. Sometimes we eat for sustenance, for example, while sitting behind our desks when typing reports, and at other times having an elaborate dinner is a pleasurable situation and helps us to strengthen family and friendship bonds.
