Getting help

If the results of your search do not meet your information needs, there are several things you can do:

  1. Read the help screens and search tips provided with the database you have been searching.
  2. Reconsider your search strategy, and maybe work it out on paper before you try again.
  3. Try a different database.
  4. Contact your information specialist. He or she can help you design your search strategy, select the most suitable database, and perform searches in databases to which you as an end-user have no access. However, these services are fee-based.
