I am working from home and I can't get access to an electronic journal
- Make sure you are logged in to your My Library account - off-campus access is only available for Wageningen UR staff and students. Read more...
- Use the appropriate link to go to the journal. When logged in, you should access the journals through the links provided in the Journals A-Z list or the Wageningen Catalogue.
- Consult the list of current access problems.
- Contact the Service Desk - servicedesk.library@wur.nl or phone 0317 484440
I used the Search option but I got zero hits
- Please be aware that you are searching the journal titles and not the contents of the journals. If you are looking for journal article citations, please check the Search section of the Desktrop library for relevant bibliographic databases. Many publishers and journal aggregators also allow you to search the full contents of their journals.
In the SFX menu I have filled in the volume, issue and starting page of an article, but I only get as far as the journal homepage
SFX is limited by the ability of the publisher site to accept and understand the SFX URL. With some journals it is not possible to link directly to the article. This is related to the architecture of the website of publishers and information providers. In these cases SFX brings you to a higher level in the journal website, e.g. to the table of contents or the homepage of the journal. From there, you will have to get to the specific article by yourself.
