It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the 32nd ELAG Library Systems Seminar on the challenging subject of « Rethinking the Library ». A topic, right at this moment of particular interest to all of us. This meeting will take place from 14 to 16 April 2008, in Wageningen, the Netherlands
Peter van Boheemen, our long time ELAG colleague from the Wageningen University and Research Library hosts this meeting.
Please find the most up-to-date news on the conference on the ELAG 2008 Web site
Most of the programme is fixed now, at least the list of Workshops is complete, and the papers part needs still some refinements. Remark that the annual progress reports are replaced by « Lightning talks ». On the web site you find more info on this. You are cordially invited to actively participate in this.
So you see ELAG is also undergoing a “rethinking” process.
As hotel accommodation is limited in Wageningen, I urge you to make reservations as quick as possible (within this and 2 weeks).
A Board meeting will take place one day before the seminar starts, which means Sunday 13 at 14h. An important part will cover organisational and content changes of ELAG. So if you can help there please join.
The final Programme schedule will be made when all data are available. The meeting will end Wednesday after 16h with a Forum on the topic of the meeting.
Peter and I hope to welcome many among you with bright new ideas as usual.
