If your current English | | messages data base differs from the one originally supplied by UNESCO, | | you may want to install the IDIS message data base in a separate sub- | | directory, which you will then select by means of parameter 0 of | | SYSPAR.PAR each time you want to run IDIS. | | | +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ To install IDIS insert the IDIS diskette into the appropriate drive and type the following command: :idisinst : where: is the drive where the the IDIS diskette has been mounted (normally a or b) is the CDS/ISIS program subdirectory, which is specified in parameter 1 of SYSPAR.PAR (do not type the final \) is the CDS/ISIS menus subdirectory, which is specified in parameter 2 of SYSPAR.PAR (do not type the final \) is the CDS/ISIS message subdirectory, which is specified in parameter 3 of SYSPAR.PAR (do not type the final \) For example, assuming that you have used the standard CDS/ISIS subdirectory names given in the CDS/ISIS Reference Manual, and assuming that the IDIS diskette is mounted on drive a:, you would use the following command: a:idisinst a: \isis\prog \isis\menu \isis\msg The IDIS manual is stored in the file IDIS.TXT on the IDIS diskette. This is an ASCII file which you may print out using the DOS PRINT command as follows: print a:idis.txt
