Focus and Scope

NJAS offers new research results of both disciplinary as well as multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies, with an emphasis on interaction between beta and gamma sciences and system approaches.

NJAS covers the entire field of the Wageningen Life Sciences, i.e., plant sciences, animal sciences, environmental sciences, social sciences and food sciences.

NJAS especially welcomes papers on the search for agricultural systems that combine multiple objectives including production of healthy food, income generation, preservation of environment and natural resources, landscape management.

The journal is issued four times a year in annual volumes of about 400 pages. Each volume contains some 30 refereed full papers.

Subscription

The subscription per volume is € 140 for NJAS online.
The subscription per volume in print plus online is € 170 (The Netherlands) and € 220 (other countries).

 

Length of papers & Pagecharge

The length of the contributions is preferably 10 printed pages. Contributions exceeding 10 printed pages of the Journal, including tables, text-figures, references and abstract, will usually not be accepted unless the cost of printing the extra pages will be paid for (€ 90.00 per page).
