A guide to gardens and garden design in the Netherlands

The "Gids voor de Nederlandse Tuin- en landschapsarchitectuur" (in Dutch) is a visitors guide and vademecum to gardens, parks, estates, cemeteries and land art features in the Netherlands, all of which are open to the public. The knowledge and information in this publication is partly based on the Collection TUiN. All its data is now incorporated in the Dutch database TUiN, the aid on archives of Dutch Garden & Landscape Architects. Short biographies of the most important Dutch garden architects are also included from the guide.

The guide also contains an extensive introduction to the historical development of Dutch garden architecture.
