Toelichting (Engels) To use the high yield potential of new varieties of cereals in the low rainfall areas of Tunisia, traditional cultural and tillage practices need to be improved. Field trials on different locations were performed to investigate the effects of seeding depth and rate, row spacing, fertilizer application and weed control, under conventional tillage and reduced tillage, on grain yield of several commercially available varieties of barley and durum wheat
