Toelichting (Engels) Growers need to realise actual gains in order to benefit from the added value of a good rootstocks. These gains can be an increase in production, better fruit quality, better resistance to pathogens, or extended plant life. This doesn't mean that Rijk Zwaan is only looking at the end result for the grower; the start at the nursery is just as important. A reliable germination with a high percentage of usable plants, an easy grafting are other important aspects that are that are very much part of the rootstock and grafting equation
