Toelichting (Engels) According to the World Bioenergy Association, energy from biomass contributes 59,2 EJ/yr or 10.3% to the global primary energy supply (World Bioenergy Association, 2017, data 2014). Using biomass, 493 TWh of renewable electricity was generated, comparable with around 2% of worldwide electricity production.
