Toelichting (Engels) The aim of this paper is to investigate the issue of cognitive perception of flood risk and the readiness of individuals to undertake protective action in the Netherlands. This research is motivated by the emerging change in thinking from flood probability to flood risk in the Netherlands which will have important implications for flood management policy in the country.

To support researchers to publish their research Open Access, deals have been negotiated with various publishers. Depending on the deal, a discount is provided for the author on the Article Processing Charges that need to be paid by the author to publish an article Open Access.
