Toelichting (Engels) In general there are three subjects described in this report: 1. Overview and brief evaluation of glass eel monitoring projects along the Dutch coast 2. Exploration of a national glass eel index based on multiple datasets along the Dutch Coast 3. Analysis of the relation between tidal currents and glass eel monitoring at Den Oever. The aim of this report is to evaluate the glass eel monitoring in the Netherlands, explore the possibility to produce a national glass eel index and to give advice on monitoring glass eel and selecting new locations.
