Toelichting (Engels) In this thesis, the flexible evacuation method is developed. The main objective of this method is to minimize the loss of life risk in case of a flood threat by, for an assumed available evacuation time, finding the optimum evacuation strategy as a combination of vertical and preventive evacuation.
