About (Dutch) AGRICOLA is een bibliografische database van landbouwkundige literatuur geproduceerd door de Nationale Landbouwkundige Bibliotheek van de Verenigde Staten. De database stamt uit 1970, maar gaat in sommige gevallen terug tot de 15e eeuw. De bibliografie beschrijft allerlei type documenten (boeken, tijdschrift artikelen, congresverslagen). De publicaties bestrijken alle aspecten van de landbouw en aanverwante disciplines zoals veehouderij, diergeneeskunde, entomologie, plantenwetenschappen, bosbouw, aquacultuur en visserij, teeltkunde, bedrijfssystemen, landbouweconomie, voorlichting, scholing, levensmiddelentechnologie, humane voeding, omgevingswetenschappen en milieutechnologie. De bibliografie is internationaal georiënteerd maar heeft een sterke nadruk op de Verenigde staten.
About AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library (NAL) and its cooperators. Production of the database started in 1970. The database covers materials in all formats (books, reports, journal articles, conference proceedings), including printed works from the 15th century. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences. Coverage of the database is international with strong emphasis on the U.S.A.
