De database bevat referenties van meer dan 5,000 seriële publicaties, boeken, rapporten, conferentieverslagen, vertalingen en beperkt verspreide literatuur. De database gaat terug tot 1971, maar er zijn honderden referenties van voor 1971. Wordt maandelijks geupdate.

Major areas of coverage include: aquaculture, fisheries, aquatic organisms, aquatic pollution, brackish water environments, conservation, environmental quality, freshwater environments, limnology, marine biotechnology, marine environments, meteorology, oceanography, policy and legislation, and wildlife management. The database contains references from over 5,000 serial publications, books, reports, conference proceedings, translations and limited distribution literature. Coverage extends back to 1971, but there are several hundred records published before 1971.The database is updated monthly.
