In: Development of the TOXSWA model for predicting the behaviour of pesticides in surface water; proceedings of a workshop, held on November 8, 1994 at Wageningen, The Netherlands. Wageningen, SC-DLO, 1995. Report 105 / Crum, S.J.H., Deneer, J.W., - p. 49 - 58.
TRANSOL (Transport of Solutes) is a dynamic simulation model to analyse the leaching of solutes from the soil surface to groundwater and surface waters on a regional scale. It can be used to simulate the entry route along which a ditch receives water and pesticides from a neighbouring soil. The model concept and the required schematization are discussed, followed by a model test using measurements for the leaching towards groundwater and surface water.
