Abstract Animal Science Group (ASG) van de Wageningen UR heeft zes accommodaties voor de vishouderij, die onderzoeksfaciliteiten bieden voor de vakgroepen Aquaculture and Fisheries (AFI), Experimentele Zoölogie (EZO) en Cel Biologie en Immunologie (CBI). De systemen zijn recirculatiesystemen, dat wil zeggen dat het water voortdurend wordt rondgepompt tussen visbassins en filtersystemen, waarbij de condities continu optimaal worden gehouden. Om deze condities te bewaken is voor een combinatie van geautomatiseerde en handmatige monitoring gekozen
