Abstract Tagetes (Afrikaantjes) kwamen als beste aaltjesonderdrukkers uit de bus tijdens een proef van PPO op het Limburgse proefbedrijf Vredepeel. Drie Tagetes-cultivars: Tagetes patula 'Ground Control'/'Single Gold', Tagetes patula 'Sparky Mix' en een nieuw Tagetes-ras, Tagetes patula 'Evergreen', Helenium, parelgierst en soedangras werden getest op hun werking tegen wortellesiaaaltjes.
