Study of literature and interviews with both theoretical and practical experts and business representatives in Amstelland and Het Groene Woud, regarding the process and the conditions for sponsoring landscape conservation. Sponsoring usually occurs within the scope of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), where businesses aim for reciprocal benefits which correspond to their corporate goals. Also important is the level of confidence in the benefitting organisation and how well the sponsor activity is organised. Recommendations for a structural, relationship-oriented approach to attracting businesses for landscape and also offering attractive reciprocal benefits.
