Abstract Om veehouders te ondersteunen in de keuze voor een emissie arme staltechniek zijn van enkele stalsystemen de voor- en nadelen geïnventariseerd bij gebruikers. De technieken zijn Warmte en Koude Opslag bij varkens, TerraSea bij vleeskuikens, V-vormige mestband bij vleeskalveren en de Vrije Keuzestal bij melkvee. Op basis van de verkregen informatie is ook gekeken naar het effect van de systemen op de economische haalbaarheid. To support farmers in their choice to invest in systems with low emissions an inventory was made of the benefits and disadvantages at users of some technics. These technics were Storage of Heat and Cold in the soil on pig farms, the TerraSea system on broiler farms, V-shaped manure belt on veal farms and the Free Choice system on cattle farms. Based on the information of the farms also economic calculations were made.
