Abstract SMS (Spent Mushroom Substrate) is zeer stabiel. De hoeveelheid stikstofmineralen in SMS is even laag als in andere compostmengsels en stukken lager dan in vaste bemesting. Het risico van lekken van N-mineraal van SMS is beperkt.
