Abstract Trend analysis on monitoring data could be a suitable method to identify feed commodities with higher dioxin or DL-PCB concentrations, thus contributing to risk-based monitoring. The aim of the present study was to obtain insight into background levels of dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs (DL-PCBs) in feed and potential trends therein.
