Last year Berg Roses trialles the Verti-Fan in combination wirh two screens that permanently had a gap. The gap and the wind had a far greater inmpact than the fans. This year they are starting a trial with vertical fans that can suck air from above a closed screen, and if necescary mix with greenhouse air. "Air movement in a large greenhouse is like a tanker at sea. It can't be stopped" Thats how Peter van Weel of Wageningen UR Greenhouse described the problem.
