This study is part of the BRANCH project, aimed at assessing the impact of climate change on species and habitats and formulating strategies for adaptation. It focuses on the local scale in three terrestrial case studies, Limburg (NL) and in Kent and Hampshire (UK). We developed and tested: (a) a method to assess the effect of climate change on species and habitats, (b) a methodology to assess the effectiveness of a proposed climate change adaptation measure (Robust Corridor) and (c) an interactive planning method to enable stakeholders to design climate proof ecosystem networks
