Abstract

Tests in a wether fitted with a jugular catheter showed that, after application of correction factors calculated by multiple regression analysis, blood volume could be measured with Evans Blue and blood plasma volume with bromsulphalein. Mean haematocrit value corresponded to 28% of the blood volume and 22.8% of the blood plasma volume. (Abstract retrieved from CAB Abstracts by CABI’s permission)
