Abstract

Single applications of Nemafos in spring 1966 and 1967, or split applications at each cut, increased grass yield in a grass/clover sward by 15% and also improved clover yield to some extent. The population density of free-living root nematodes was greatly reduced, but this did not entirely account for the yield increase. AAvlitox(20% O-2, 4-dichlorophenyl O, O-diethyl phosphorothioate) had similar but smaller effects.-A.M.H. (Abstract retrieved from CAB Abstracts by CABI’s permission)
