Abstract

Experimental fumigations showed that the con-centration of the fumigant in the free space of the chamber depends on the nature of the product treated, the packing material and the type of chamber. Sorption rates of various materials, including narcissus bulbs and woody plants, are tabulated. [For earlier work with hydrocyanic acid See H.A., 27: 2763h.
