In the growing seasons of 1950 and 1953-1955 the effect of weather on transpiration intensity was accurately demonstrated. Fluctuations of intensity, including those caused by different fertilizing and kinds of soil, are shown for different varieties of barley, oats, wheat, rye and peppermint.- Author's summary.
