Abstract

With few exceptions, only seed of varieties appearing in the Netherlands List of Varieties is allowed to be marketed. An account is given of the procedure (including field trials) which is followed in determining which varieties of field crops (including forage crops and green manures) and herbage crops are suitable for including in the list.-W.J.B.
