English origin.

 

SHAPE: little or no variation.

SIZE: second grade, often approaching third grade.

EYE: open, in a regular basin.

STALK: medium length, woody, occasionally with fleshy protuberance.

The COLOUR is always very lively and provides the apple with an attractive appearance.

The FLESH is pleasant, soft and sweetly tart.

TIME OF USE: November - February. First grade for dessert and kitchen.

The TREE is a moderate grower, very fertile, suited for all tree forms, and can grow into a beautiful pyramid shape. Is one of most beautiful apples known in our day, especially when grown on pyramid or espalier.
