An old variety, introduced more than half a century ago by the late Mr. corn. ottolander; found by Father meijer from Zwolle.

The COLOUR is lemon-yellow with a slight blush at the sun side, some russeting possible, occasional small brown lenticels. The skin feels a bit rough.
The FLESH is white, sometimes greenish white in ripening apples, medium soft, aromatic, juicy, pleasantly sour.
TIME OF USE: December - January. First grade for dessert.
The TREE is a strong grower with almost horizontal branches; twigs are dark olive coloured, mixed with some grey; light grey round lenticels; buds are medium, leaves are large, oblong, strongly serrated, its sides bent upwards; firm leaf stalks, 27 - 34 mms long; one year old twigs are brown and woolly.
We recommend the variety as standard tree.
