An ecological survey of north-eastern Botswana

Abstract

The present survey followed a request by the Bechuanaland Government to the wood and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for assistance, in terms of the Expanded Program for Technical Assistance, with a survey of the wildlife industry in the north east of the territory.
This arose from the recommendations of the two FAO/IUCN Africa Special Project Consultants, who toured the country at his request of the Government, in October and November 1962, to advise on the wildLife resources.
